1001 Night...AFTER features all original compositions by Anello Capuano who plays all the instruments (real and virtual) except for the violin on some of the tracks and the vocal on Dhikr. Inspired by the great musical traditions of Africa, Morocco and the whole Middle east, each track feature ethnic instruments of the Oriental world like the Oud, the Saz, the Sarod, the North-African Banjo, the Balalika, the Ney, the Murali plus a vast array of traditional oriental percussion like the Darbuka, the Riq, the Daf, the Tabla, the Ghatam, the Sagat, etc. Recorded, mixed and mastered at my home-studio Charivari in Bali, Indonesia, the whole album is an Ali Baba's cave for the Belly and Tribal dancers as each track is conceived as a solo or group dance number, with a specific underlined story to inspire and support the dance.
